The IRONMAN® 70.3® Pennsylvania Happy Valley triathlon is set to make its return to State College, Penn. on Sunday, June 15. Athletes will be treated to a 1.2-mile swim in Foster Joseph Sayers Reservoir at Bald Eagle State Park, a scenic 56-mile bike ride through the beautiful rolling hills of Centre and Clinton Counties and culminate with a 13.1-mile run on the campus of Penn State University including a unique finish line experience outside of iconic Beaver Stadium.
2025 IRONMAN 70.3 Pennsylvania offers age-group qualifying slots to the 2025 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship, taking place on November 8-9 in Marbella, Spain.
Professional Field
Sunday’s event will feature a field of top professional women vying for a $20,000 pro prize purse and the IRONMAN 70.3 Pennsylvania Happy Valley title. Top contenders in the women’s only field include 2022 IRONMAN World Champion Chelsea Sodaro (USA), Tamara Jewett (CAN), Jeanni Metzler (ZAF), and Grace Alexander (USA), among others.
