IRONMAN Cozumel MEX Pro Preview

Friday 17 November 2023

Cozumel is not only a beach-goer's paradise, but it’s also a seasoned IRONMAN host city. Off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, the area has over 14 miles of reefs for exploring, plus archaeological ruins, a national park, and endless expanses of turquoise water and white sandy beaches.

The swim is an in-water start in the sea and finishes at CHANKANAAB park beach. The bike course starts and finishes at the CHANKANAAB park, using the Cozumel island main road. The marathon course is three laps, starting at the CHANKANAAB park towards Cozumel downtown.

The 2023 IRONMAN Cozumel offers Age Group Qualifying *55 slots to the 2024 VinFast IRONMAN World Championship.

*Forty (40) Female Age Group Qualifying slots, France on September 22, 2024,
