DESCRIPTION:The Highest Extreme Triathlon In The World 
Swim - The 3.8km night swim at Lake Phewa near the city of Pokhara will start at 04.00. Wetsuits mandatory. Water temperature averages 15 degrees C.
Bike - 175km. Entirely on asphalt, mostly smooth, but surface can be variable and rough in patches. The course will not be closed to traffic, but the roads used are mostly quiet back roads.
Run - 43km of mountain trail, uneven, rocky, forest tree roots, lots of steep sections, up and down. Climbs from 1,740 metres at T2 to a turnaround at 4,000m altitude, so 'thin air' to contend with, before descending to the finish at 1,400m. This is a serious challenge as the third stage to this event! Finish - The remote nature of the finish line will mean all athletes and support will be accommodated in the homestay village of Lwang on a twin-room basis included in the 395 euro race entry.
