It is a great pleasure to welcome you to Vitoria-Gasteiz for a very special edition. After several years’ absence, the 70.3 distance returns to our city, brimming with enthusiasm, energy and high expectations. Since the last event held in 2018, we have worked with the aim of once again offering this experience to lovers of the middle-distance triathlon, and today that dream is coming true once more.
This return is made even more special by the fact that we have the largest field in the history of IRONMAN in Vitoria-Gasteiz. Thousands of athletes have chosen our city to take on this challenge, making this edition a milestone for the event and a true celebration of triathlon. Vitoria-Gasteiz once again opens its doors to welcome athletes from all over the world. You will find an exceptional setting, a course designed for enjoyment and competition at the highest level, and a city that lives and breathes sport with passion and will be with you every kilometre of the way.
