IRONMAN Florida USA Pro Preview

The 2023 Visit Panama City Beach IRONMAN Florida triathlon, part of the VinFast IRONMAN North America Series, returns to Panama City Beach, Fla. for the 25th year. Over 2,000 registered athletes are set to take on the 25th edition of the Visit Panama City Beach IRONMAN triathlon. Since its debut in 1999, the event has become the longest consecutively running full-distance IRONMAN event in North America. Race weekend kicks off on Wednesday, Nov. 1 with athlete check-in located at IRONMAN Village at Aaron Bessant Park. On Saturday, Nov. 4, athletes will begin their IRONMAN journey with a 2.4-mile swim in the Gulf of Mexico around the Russell-Fields Pier. Athletes will transition to the bike for a 112-mile ride traversing the intercostal waterways into the Pine Long State Forest, and a 26.2-mile two-lap run along Front Beach Road to a spectator-filled finish inside Panama City Beach’s Pier Park.

PROFESSIONAL FIELD:  
The 2023 edition of the Visit Panama City Beach IRONMAN Florida triathlon will see a stellar field of professional athletes descend on Florida’s Panhandle to compete for a combined professional prize purse of $100,000. Many of the world’s best, including Magnus Ditlev (DNK), Rudy Von Berg (USA), Denis Chevrot (FRA), Skye Moench (USA), Jen Annett (CAN) and Giorgia Priarone (ITA) will toe the start line in Panama City Beach looking for a late season title to add to their resume.
