Racing Returns to Austria with 70.3 Zell am See

After a very challenging year for everyone and a constantly changing situation in Austria due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the whole team is extremely pleased to welcome you to this year's IRONMAN 70.3 Zell am See-Kaprun in the Salzburg mountains.

Glacial glamour in stunning Salzburgerland with the sparkling lake Zell as its center point and glacier-covered mountains as its backdrop, this event showcases Austria's majestic scenery. A postcard-perfect destination, with a swim in lake Zell, a bike through Salzburgerland and run through the old town of Zell am See, this race is a triathlon and vacation gem.

The IRONMAN 70.3 Zell am See-Kaprun Event Venue is located directly at the beautiful lake Zell and is devided into two parts. The transition area and the swim start are located at Schu¨ttdorf in the south of Lake Zell. There, the official swim training, bike check-in, swimstart and bike check-out will take place. In the city center at the Ferry Porsche Congress Center, the finish line, registration, IRONMAN Expo and Merchandise are located.

This race offers qualifying slots for the 2022 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship.

Professionals compete for $30.000 prize purse plus 1 MPRO/ 1 WPRO World Champs Slot.
