At the Ironman 70.3 Knokke-Heist on September 7, 2025, Cameron Main of Great Britain and Diede Diederiks of the Netherlands claimed the professional victories. Both athletes put on a dominant display, with Diederiks making up a significant deficit on the bike and Main leading the men's race from the front.
In the men's race, Cameron Main led a strong field to a decisive victory. Main led from the start, setting an aggressive pace that his rivals were unable to match. Belgian athletes Dries Comhair and Pamphiel Pareyn delighted the home crowd by finishing second and third, respectively.
Diede Diederiks fought her way back from an early setback to clinch the women's title. Diederiks exited the water nearly four minutes behind the leader but used her powerful cycling skills to take control of the race by the halfway mark of the bike leg. After establishing a four-minute lead coming into the run, Diederiks maintained her advantage to secure the win comfortably. Justine Mathieux of France finished in second place, but could not close the gap on the Dutch champion.
The race was a success, with a large and enthusiastic crowd supporting athletes from start to finish. The race also offered qualifying slots for the 2026 Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Nice, France. In addition to the main 70.3 event, the weekend also featured a 5150 distance race.
