Max Neumann, Ashleigh Gentle Win Hell of the West AUS

The 2023 Hell of the West triathlon took place on March 26th in Goondiwindi, Australia. This grueling event consisted of a 2km swim, 80km bike ride, and 20km run, and attracted some of the top triathletes from around the world.

In the men's professional division, Max Neumann took home the top spot with a time of 3:20:11. Neumann dominated the competition, finishing over eight minutes ahead of second place finisher Kieran Storch. Josh Amberger rounded out the podium with a time of 3:30:56.

Fraser Walsh and Edward Vining finished in fourth and fifth place, respectively, with times of 3:36:42 and 3:37:59.

In the women's professional division, Ashleigh Gentle emerged victorious with a time of 3:42:45. Ellie Salthouse came in a close second with a time of 3:46:29, while Kylie Simpson finished in third place with a time of 4:00:32.

Shannon Sutton and Sarah Thomas rounded out the top five, finishing with times of 4:06:00 and 4:20:40, respectively.

Overall, the 2023 Hell of the West triathlon was a thrilling and intense event, showcasing the incredible athleticism and determination of some of the world's top triathletes. Congratulations to all of the participants on a job well done!
