DESCRIPTION:IRONMAN Valdivia triathlon will offer athletes an unmatched experience racing through this unique and picturesque region of southern Chile. Athletes will begin their race with a 3.8 km (2.4-mile) swim in the calm and scenic waters of the Calle-Calle River, offering views of Valdivia’s iconic bridges and the surrounding greenery. Once out of the water, athletes will take on a 180.2 km (112-mile) bike course through the stunning Chilean countryside. The two-loop course will pass by serene rivers, majestic forests, and scenic mountain views. The course is designed to offer both flat stretches and some challenging hills, while also showcasing the beauty of the region. After transitioning to the run, athletes will complete a 42.2 km (26.2-mile) run along the picturesque riverbanks and through the heart of historic Valdivia. The flat and fast run course features a mix of urban streets between Av España, and the iconic Valdivia's Costanera, culminating in an unforgettable finish line experience.
