A beautiful sunny day accompanied Sunday, September 28, the tenth edition of Elbaman, the unique and inimitable iron distance triathlon which takes place in Italy, Isola d'Elba.
The two days of Marina di Campo (Isola d'Elba), who welcomed the 700 triathletes and all the companions, began the day before, with the ElbaKids for children aged 6 to 13 years.
A perfect prologue for the intense Sunday with two races: Elbaman "iron distance" (3.8K swim, 180K bike and 42.2K run), and Elbaman73, "half distance" (1.9-94- 21.1K).
At the end of the competitions, the athletes arrived exhausted, but smiling and especially pleased to be finisher of this hard race with a swim in a natural pool and cycling and run with stunning scenery.
A big applause goes to the organizing team, led by Marco Scotti and his family: they were able this year more than ever, to better harmonize the work of all those who have contributed to the success of this Elbaman X Edition.

Victory for the swissman Dominik Reichsteiner, second position for Maurizio Carta, third Stefano Luciani.
Elbaman73 women
Tris for italian women: gold medal for Ilaria Zavanone, silver for Barbara Davolio and bronze for Francesca Rigo.
Elbaman men
Lucky Berlage take the lead on the bike and complete his triumph on the marathon: first position under the wall of 10 hours. Second place for Leonardo Nocentini (best run split), third for Mauro Ciarrocchi (age group M50).
Elbaman women
Micaela Tessaro is the first after swim and bike, with 20 minutes. Laura Mazzucco, second in T2, take the lead in marathon and wins ahead Alessandra Boifava and Marta Poretti. The run is very difficulty for Tessaro who close in 4th position.
