One of more than 90 events in the global IRONMAN 70.3 race series, IRONMAN 70.3 Palmas will lead athletes through a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike and 13.1-mile run through the city of Palmas. The race will start at Graciosa Beach where the one-lap swim will take place. The three-loop bike course will lead athletes through an amazing landscape. The two-loop run will take athletes along the river and conclude back at the Graciosa Beach.
IRONMAN 70.3 Palmas offers 30 qualifying slots for the 2017 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship.
Professionals compete for P-500 points and $15,000 prize purse.
