Swim: The swimming course is the rowing lane of the lake.
The transition area is located on the rowing island.
Bike Course: The bike course goes through the countryside and some villages. It is flat and closed to traffic (exception: buses). Participants will ride four laps
Run: The final run leads around the lake and is nearly flat. One lap is about 7 km long.
This means four laps of the lake and then the athletes run the 14 km along the Rhine River to the finish line at cologne city.
The finish line of the Cologne226 will be at the new famous location in Cologne: Rheinau Harbour. In front of the Olympia and Chocolate museum in the Heart of Cologne.
