K226 the triathletes guide to the galaxy, and when we say the Galaxy we mean going long. K226 triathlon is a hub of information to help the athlete tired from the rigour of a hard long training day easily navigate and transition through cyber space to find all the latest news, gossip and information pertaining to his or her passion.

How we started?

K226 triathlon was initially set up to promote the independent iron-distance events around the world. Over these many years we have expanded to incorporate all of the Long distance triathlon community.

As a fan and competitor of triathlon since the early 80's, and travelling to many destination races we had collected a unique list of events and was encourage by our fellow competitors to publish our findings.

After coming online in early 2006 we were contacted by many professional triathletes in order to help promote their cause. This we did with our Pro section that allows the athletes to self promote and voice their opinions. This section has now transformed into our Athlete database that allows the fans and community to easily find and follow the professional field.
